Violin Instructor
Elyse Stromer is a violinist from Ridgeland, South Carolina. She has been part of the Beaufort Youth Orchestra for the past nine years and the Beaufort Symphony Orchestra for five years. Elyse has studied with violist Ami Rabinowitz and violinist Asako Kremer. Starting the violin at two years old, she enjoys playing in her church’s worship team, playing music with her friends, and performing classical and fiddle tunes. She has had the opportunity to play as a soloist with the Beaufort Symphony three times, performing Vivaldi’s concerto no. 8 for two violins, J. C.Bach’s Sinfonia Concertante, and Corelli’s Christmas Concerto. She has auditioned, qualified, and attended SCMEA’s Regionals and All-State Orchestra for 6 consecutive years. Teaching violin has been an amazing experience for her. She currently is a private violin teacher at homeschool co-op Learn Together Lowcountry in Okatie SC, as well as teaching violin lessons from her home in Ridgeland. She is so excited to share her passion for music with your student!
